Gamma Delta Chapter is proud to be one of 70 dynamic chapters, comprised of graduate and undergraduate members, across five regions of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.  With over 1,000 members Nationally, Iota has a rich and impactful legacy.  We invite you to explore our Local, Regional, and National websites to learn more. 

Gamma Delta Chapter, based in Richmond, VA, has been a cornerstone of service and leadership since its founding on November 27, 1954.  Today, we have 30 dedicated members, including one who has proudly served for more than 67 years!  Throughout the decades, Gamma Delta has been actively involved in the Richmond community, offering support to local schools, social service programs for youth and seniors, and initiatives that encourage business growth.  We are also proud to have our own 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, the GDC Education, Leadership, and Scholarship Foundation, which helps fund our many impactful programs and projects. 

As we approach our 70th anniversary, Gamma Delta continues to shine as a nationally recognized, award-winning chapter within Iota's Eastern Region, which spans from Connecticut to the Virgin Islands.  Our chapter has received numerous accolades, including the Outstanding President's Award and Chapter Achievement Award at both the Regional and National levels, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence in service and leadership.  We are honored to be among the 14 chapters in the Eastern Region making a difference. 

Our members are a diverse group of business and professional women, united by a shared mission of service, sisterhood, and personal growth.  Volunteering and leadership are at the heart of everything we do, and our efforts continually uplift Iota Phi Lambda and the Gamma Delta Chapter.  Through networking, collaboration, and sisterhood, we strengthen bonds and build lifelong friendships.
